Description:

Orchis latifolia is the botanical name of a salep orchid that belongs to the Orchidaceae family. Salep orchid is a perennial herb that grows up to 60 to 70 cm tall. It is a flowering plant that grows in all weather conditions. Salep orchid has succulent and detachable root tubers. The tuber is erect, elliptical, and spear-shaped, and the flowers attached to the spikes have dull purple color.
