Description:
Chicory(Kasinikeerai) is a woody, perennial herbaceous plant of the Asteraceae family. Chicory plants grow around 1 meter tall with large basal leaves and smaller upper leaves. Chicory leaves are often eaten like celery, and it is cultivated for their leaves and their roots to boil and be eaten. Chicory leaves are also used for culinary uses.
