Sida cordifolia is the botanical name of Country mallow and is a part of the Malvaceae family. Country mallow (Khirainti) is an ancient herb known as Bala in Ayurveda. The term Bala means strength which shows that this herb is used to increase the strength of the body. Country mallow is a long-living herb or small undershrub which grows up to 50 to 200 cm in height. The plant is native to Cambodia, Sri Lanka, and India and grows in all the places in Rajasthan.
