Description:
The clearing nut is a deciduous tree that belongs to the botanical family of Strychnos potatorum and grows up to 40 feet tall. Clearing nuts were found in the temperate region of South India and Eastern India. It is a small, bushy tree with a blackish trunk. The flowers are white and greenish-yellow, having a good fragrance. Clearing nut is described as an excellent medicinal and Ayurvedic herb as well as used for purifying water in India and Myanmar.
