Description:
Ficus Religiosa is the botanical name for Sacred figs(peepal) belonging to the genus species. A sacred tree native to the Indian subcontinent and has been worshiped in temples. According to the science of Ayurveda, every part of the sacred tree has great medicinal value besides religious significance. The sacred fig is a medium-sized tall tree that grows up to 10 meters. The bark of the tree is gray and red, and the leaves have three veins. The pods are slightly ovated in clusters on the stems, branches, and base. Although the fig tree has a good aroma.
